Kristian Martinez was raised in Southern California and grew up in Montecito Baptist Church in Los Angeles. He attended Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California and graduated in 2008.  While in Bible college, the Lord began speaking to Kristian about Yuma, Arizona--a city with no fundamental Baptist ministry for the Spanish speaking people.  In August of 2008 he married his wife, Christie, and just one month later they moved to Yuma to help Faith Baptist Church start their Spanish ministry.  Under the teaching and preaching of Pastor Martinez, Faith Baptist has seen their Spanish ministry grow and thrive.  Praise the Lord for filling in a void in this much needed area of our church and our city.
